Dress Code and Course Etiquette

Guests are asked to be aware of our dress code while on the course:

  • Shirts and shoes must be worn on the golf course at all times. Men’s shirts should have sleeves and collars.
  • Bathing attire, cutoff shorts, jeans, halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, and similar types of recreational wear are not considered proper dress.
  • Shoes worn on the course must be appropriate for golf, as determined by the course manager or superintendent.
Wireless Internet Access
Blue Rock has its own wireless network. Please check close to the club house.
Balls Out-of-Bounds
Blue Rock Golf Course is located in a residential community. Because golf is played outdoors in natural surroundings, rules take into account the fact that balls may land in both natural and artificial course obstacles such as water hazards, trees, sprinklers and tee markers. The rules also take into account the boundaries of the course, so that golfers don’t wander into a neighbor’s back yard to play or retrieve a ball. Certain spots where the ball lands may be unplayable; in those instances golfers are permitted to move their ball or drop their ball in another place as long as they don’t receive an advantage.
Is There a Golf School and Lessons?
Blue Rock´s Golf Academy, led by PGA Professional Patrick Fannon, uses the latest technology, including V1 Pro swing analysis, to accelerate learning, monitor student progress and help you understand and improve your swing. Blue Rock Golf Course offers 18 holes of golf for every skill level and features a restaurant, driving range and full-service pro shop. Private and group lessons, and golf school/lodging packages are available.
Restaurant and Lounge
Blue Rock’s casual restaurant, The Grill Room, serves daily breakfast and lunch until mid-afternoon. And be sure to visit the lounge for a post-round drink (hours vary by season).
